The Hispanic Dental Association embarked on its first National Service & Educational Project during Hispanic Heritage Month (October 2015). This unique opportunity was made possible through a generous educational grant from the Kellogg Foundation and took place at Southridge Elementary School in Lewisville Independent School District.

The nation-wide, chapter-based service project utilized the “Lessons In A Lunch Box: Healthy Teeth Essentials & Facts About Snacks" to teach first and second grade students about proper nutrition and how to have healthy teeth.
